The ESL programs in schools around Kentucky were not high in need, or high in number of participants for many years. This is changing drastically! The number of ESL students has made an obvious increase, causing school boards and teachers to address the needs of these students, using the right tools to accommodate these students and their families. The purpose of this BLOG is to provide resources for classroom teachers with ELL students, ELL teachers, as well as examples of how a teacher could modify a lesson to provide such accommodations in order to ensure that the student is receiving everything he/she needs in order to thrive in their education, as well as later on in life.
